Housing Accommodations
Delegates will be housed in Joseph and Regina Cox Hall located just a short walk from Stevenson Union, location of all conference activities. This building shares space with the Department of Residential Education and Services, the Residence Hall Association office, the Conference and Elderhostel Program offices, as well as the Housing Administration office.
Delegate rooms are standard residence hall rooms, featuring two extra long twin beds with a trundle bed stowed safely under one of them. There are two closets, study desks, and chairs. Everything you need to feel at home. The rooms come standard with bed linens, but it would be a good idea to bring an extra towel, shower, shoes, shower supplies, and robe, as the bathroom are community style and located down the hall. We will be housing a maximum of two people in these specific rooms.
Advisors may request single rooms at an additional cost of $30.00 to registration. Should an advisor desire a single room, they are encouraged to note that on their registration form.
In 2003, this building was remodeled to add on 3 extra floors of guest rooms. Aptly named ‘The Annex’, these rooms feature two queen-size beds, bathrooms located in the room, microwaves, and mini fridges, as well as a sink. The housing committee may assign four delegates per room in the Annex (rooms with two queen-size beds) should there be a need for additional space.
Each floor features a comfortable lounge for delegate use, complete with a television set, computer with internet access, a small selection of reading materials, and of course a beautiful view of the Siskiyou Mountains.
The main Cox Hall Lounge will serve as our hospitality area. Should an emergency should arise after hours, the conference staff will be on site to assist. Additionally, members of host committee will be staying in Cox Hall as well. Emergency contact information will be made available in all of the delegation packets upon your arrival.
Each delegation will receive a parking permit allowing them to park in designated parking areas during the conference.
