We are pleased to announce that the 2008 No Frills Host Committee has teamed up with the Northwest Seasonal Workers Association for this year's conference service project. The NSWA is an organization who provides assistance to seasonal workers such as farmers, fruit pickers, field laborers, etc...
The assistance provided from this group includes medical and dental referrals, transporation, job assistance, clothing, food, and legal advice.
The NSWA has been very gracious to the Host Committee by helping to secure sponsorship for the conference.
As a result, we are helping the NSWA with a blanket and coat drive. We are asking that each delegate/advisor bring at least one jacket and/or blanket in new/good condition to donate to this organization. All items collected will be donated to the NSWA for distribution to friends in need.
We strongly encourage you to participate in this philanthropic opportunity and look forward to seeing the impact PACURH will have with regards to this initiative.
As of today, we have 103 delegates and advisors registered for the conference. We are very excited that so many of you have decided to join us for No Frills 2008.
A couple items to remember. Please make sure that you have submitted your banquet meal choice for Saturday evening. Additionally, please have a member of your delegation or advisor complete the transportation form so that we can provide adequate assistance should your delegation require any.
As of today, we have a total of 76 delegates/advisors registered for the 2008 NO FRILLS CONFERENCE. For those of you who have not registered, we encourage you to do so by February 1st, 2008 @ 5:00pm.
Please make sure you have completed the travel form on the registration page of this website regardless of whether your are flying, driving, or riding the bus. This will help us prepare for your arrival.
The conference liability form is now available online at the bottom of the registration page. Please open this link, complete the form, and bring it with you February 15, 2008. One should be completed by each delegate and advisor.
The Housing Chair would like to encourage you to please review the housing section of the website. We want to provide clarification with regards to # of delegates per room. Standard Cox Hall rooms will house two delegates while rooms in the Annex may house four delegates (two queen-size beds). Again, placing four delegates in a room is contingent on registration numbers.
Site visit is over and we are on the home stretch! We are working very hard to create a great conference experience for all you.
Registration is officially open at $155/delegate for double room and $185/advisor (if they want a single room). Single rooms are only available for Advisors.
We really hope you register soon so that we can begin making preparations for your arrival. If you have any questions or need anything, please contact one of us by clicking on the "contact us" section of the website.
Until next time -
NO FRILLS HOST COMMITTEE
